My name is Kristin Bijur. I am an educator in the San Francisco Bay Area. I worked for nine joyful years as an upper elementary and middle school  teacher and another eight years as an urban school site leader. I am currently doing equity-focused leadership coaching for principals while I raise two small children.

Most of the research about current events that I use for equity framing comes from The New York Times, The New Yorker, Slate, The Daily Show, Fox News, and The Huffington Post.
